The best way to search for homes is using a program that we as REALTORS use, the Northstar Multiple Listing Service (MLS). We’ll talk about how to gain access to this program, as well as the many different search criteria we can set up in this program.
When we list homes for sale, we enter them into the NorthStarMLS system. We can set up a search for you in this system so that you get the homes sent to your inbox right away. It’s the most accurate database, and the quickest too. The best way to get this going is to sit down for a meeting and jointly create the search. Common search parameters include things such as price, beds, baths, garage stalls. We can also specify the style of house whether it’s a single family house, condo, townhouse, one story, two story, or split. We can also include some more unique items in your search, but I wouldn’t select too many specifics or you’ll end up with very few houses to see. Some specific selections include acres, monthly association due amount, pool, lake access, etc.
Once we have the search set up, you’ll be getting emails daily from “OneHome.” Please set up an account in OneHome so that you can save your favorite homes, and create your own searches. It’s a powerful tool. When you find houses you’d like to see, just let us know via email or text, with the MLS numbers of the houses, and some time frames you are available and we’ll work on setting up a tour.
