What is a listing contract for? Why do we need one? Stay tuned for these answers and more.
A listing contract, or listing agreement, is a legal document signed between the sellers of a home and a real estate agent, that allows the agent to sell your home. Typically this is signed before the house comes on the market, which allows the agent to do pre-marketing, and gives the seller time to finish up preparing the home for sale. Once we have the listing contract signed, we start our marketing efforts right away. Our goal is to get your home sold for the highest amount possible, in the least amount of time.
